M27 Closure – Important Information for Patients (Christmas 2025)

From 8pm on Wednesday 24 December 2025 until 4am on Sunday 4 January 2026, the M27 will be fully closed between Junctions 9 and 11. All traffic will be diverted along the A27, which runs directly past The Portchester Practice.

Because of this diversion, we are expecting significant congestion and delays throughout the closure period. Please take this into consideration if you have an appointment with us.

What You Need to Know

  • The A27 is likely to be extremely busy, especially between 10am and 4pm.
  • Journey times may be much longer than usual.
  • Parking and access to the practice may be affected at peak times.
  • Please allow extra time to travel to the practice.
